Note on Program Accreditation
Walden University is an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health. This accreditation review will address the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. Other degrees and areas of study offered by this institution will not be included in the unit of accreditation review.

Note on Certification
The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) offers the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential as a voluntary core credential for public health professionals. However, in order to sit for the CPH exam, a student must have graduated from a Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accredited school or program of public health. While Walden's MPH program is an applicant for CEPH accreditation, the program is not yet accredited and Walden MPH graduates may not currently sit for the CPH exam.
